Arabic script might seem complex and intricate at first but it is written by following a simple system. Each of the Arabic 28 letters is written in different formations. These formations reflect the position of the letter: in isolation, at the beginning of a word, the middle of a word or the end of a word.

The Write and Wipe Arabic Alphabet Flashcards from WordUnited illustrate how to write Arabic by following an easy three-step system:

  1. start by tracing the letter with the help of numbered directional arrows,
  2. progress by tracing the letter without the support of arrows, and
  3. attempt to write the letter independently with the help of the prompt.

Videos freely available on our website show how to correctly write each letter.
